Areas of Interest

Meet Erin Sanderson

Hello! My name is Erin (she/her) and I’m a registered psychologist with a masters in clinical psychology.

I bring a respectful and affirming approach to therapy, prioritising the unique goals and experiences of my clients. I work with adults and older teens, as well as couples and polyam folk seeking relationship help. I have a strong affiliation with the LGBTQIA+ community, and welcome folks of all genders, sexualities and relationship structures. I have special interests in working with those experiencing eating disorders, and in working with relationship difficulties, but welcome people with diverse mental wellbeing concerns.

Working in a trauma-informed, attachment-oriented framework, I can assist with a range of challenges including depression, anxiety, PTSD, emotional and interpersonal difficulties, self-worth and self-esteem challenges, mood disorders, and life transitions.

I use a range of therapeutic approaches, driven by your personal needs, attributes and preferences. These may include Schema Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy for relationships, and a range of cognitive, behavioural, and physiological (mind – body) interventions.

I aim for a warm and compassionate style, building a strong therapeutic relationship, from which positive change and understanding can grow.
I invite you to join me in a collaborative approach to therapy, working together towards the life you want to be living.
I have limited availability for new clients, and welcome your enquiry.
