Eve is an experienced therapist who enjoys working with older teenagers and adults.
Her areas of interest include physical and emotional trauma, anxiety and depression, sleep issues, relationship counselling, and understanding personality and promoting personal growth. She is skilled in the use of a broad range of evidence-based therapies (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Trauma Informed Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)).
Eve’s experience in applying these therapeutic techniques, coupled with her personable approach, has enabled her to work effectively with people of all ages and from all walks of life. She will support you throughout the counselling process, and ensure the treatment approach is responsive to your unique circumstances and what you want to achieve. Sensitive to issues of culture, race, gender and sexual orientation, Eve will work with you to ensure you have the right tools and develop new skills to better manage or resolve your problems so you can get ‘back on track’ and continue to thrive.
Eve’s current training focuses on EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Polyvagal Theory in Therapy. Having worked in complex organisations and the university sector, Eve can also assist with work and study problems.
