Meet Jennifer Martinez

Providing care and support through life transitions and adjustments, loss and grief. Jennifer's warm and empathetic approach means your therapy is tailored to your needs.

Jennifer is an accredited mental health social worker who is passionate about walking alongside individuals as they embark on their therapy journey.

Whether this is your first time connecting for counselling support or you have engaged in therapy before, Jennifer provides a calm and welcoming space to begin exploring the challenges currently being experienced. Using gentle curiosity, Jennifer works together with individuals to build a collaborative plan for helping them to reach their goals. Jennifer enjoys supporting individuals to build a stronger sense of self-awareness and understanding as these are often the building blocks for creating positive change.

Jennifer works from a trauma-informed, neuroaffirming and person-centred approach in all sessions. She utilises a range of therapeutic approaches based on the individual needs of the person. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy.

Jennifer loves supporting adults and older teenagers experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, PTSD and life transitions.
