Soobin (He/Him) is a warm, empathetic, and dedicated Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who brings a compassionate, person-centred approach to practice.
Taking the first step toward therapy is a significant act of courage, and Soobin deeply respects your decision to seek support. His aim is to provide a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space where you can move beyond merely surviving to truly functioning and thriving.
With over 5 years’ background across acute hospital triage, youth mental health services, and intensive community care, he specialises in helping adolescents (12+) and adults process difficult life experiences, discover their strengths, and rebuild meaningful connection with themselves and others. He values client empowerment and works collaboratively with individuals and families to develop practical coping strategies and long-term psychological resilience.
Soobin’s practice is holistic and person-centred. He utilises comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments, personalised care plans, and a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Trauma Informed Care and Attachment-based Therapy. Every intervention is carefully tailored to align with your unique needs, priorities, and goals.
