As a psychologist and certified mindfulness practitioner, she is passionate about working with adults and older adolescents to help them identify strengths and coping strategies, heal from past and present difficulties, and live a life that feels rich, meaningful and happy.
She works closely with her clients to build a supportive professional relationship, and uses a holistic approach that is guided by evidence-based psychology techniques and awareness of the mind-body connection.
She also has a strong interest in cultivating and teaching mindfulness, which she sees as a profound way to enhance psychological resilience and feelings of happiness and contentment for a broad range of people – including herself!
Kali has undertaken extensive training in treating clients with trauma histories, and has significant expertise in treating anxiety, depression, substance abuse and other addictions, and relationship and workplace difficulties. She is trained in administering Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) – an internationally recognised gold standard treatment for PTSD and other trauma-related conditions. She also utilises Ego State Therapy which can further help to promote the integration and resolution of trauma.
For over 20 years she has enjoyed working with a wide variety of clients from the broader community, as well as the multicultural community, emergency services and military personnel. Whatever your age, gender, sexual orientation or background, you can be assured you will be treated with respect and professionalism at all times.
