Putri is a registered Clinical Psychologist who is passionate in helping her clients to cope with their life problems.
Putri understands that people’s experiences with therapy differ and it can be quite intimidating at times. She always meets people where they are and works with them at a pace which they are comfortable with. Her experiences living and working in various countries and encountering people from different cultures makes her open minded, non-biased and sensitive to people’s specific experience and custom. Through a trusting therapeutic relationship, Putri strives to guide her patients to discover their own strength and be their fulfilling self.
Putri completed her degrees in Clinical and Forensic Psychology in Germany and the UK respectively. She then completed her formal training as a Behavioural therapist and was a registered psychological psychotherapist in Germany. She has worked in multiple settings throughout the years, both in public and private sector in different countries. This gave her the opportunity as a clinician to treat adults and young adults with a range of mental health issues, such as stress, adjustment problems, grief, anxiety and panic attacks, OCD, depression, Bipolar, trauma, substance abuse problems, interpersonal problems and other issues.
As a trained Behavioural therapist, her approach is drawn from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and other third-wave of behaviour therapy, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical behaviour therapy and Metacognitive therapy. She is also interested in Schema Therapy and Trauma treatment. After moving to Australia in 2022 with her family, Putri is now continuing her work in helping people cope with their problems and difficult life situations.
